GPL - can I mount machine guns on my Ferarri...?

I *thought* I was doing good earlier today. I managed to qualify 3rd at Monza, behind the Lotii... Racetime - it took about 7 tries before I could even get ONE compleate lap. I kept crashing at either Curva Grande or the 1st Lesmos. After about 7-8 more restart attempts, I gave up. Just went back to my saved practice results - the same thins. About 5-7 more restarts. I finally was able to finish a few laps. I've discovered that I have to brake much earlier and harder than the AI - I keep getting hit from behind. Jeez, I may as well be running Bill Eliott's Nascar Racing... Lap 14 of 21, Irwin swerves into me as I was lapping him. Takes me out of the race. I'm totally disgusted, and quit the program. I can't *imagine* how some of you can BEAT the AI... I'm totally in awe. I'm also VERY pissed at GPL right now...I'm going to bed. Eldred -- Tiger Stadium R.I.P. 1912-1999 Own Grand Prix Legends? Did you check that your race setup is the same one you qualified with? I have a habit of forgetting to check that myself, and then ending up with the wrong setup in a race and crashing off somewhere. :) Grant.

Yep, my race setup and qual setup is the same. It's AH's Ferarri setup with appropriate fuel amounts. ...and I thought I was starting to get BETTER...silly me.
