Could anyone tell me why it's impossible to paint over the white part of the
car (I don't know the technical term for it, but the piece that separates
the frond windshield from the side windows). It always looks daft sitting
there, all ***al white...

The 'A' pillar?? I guess they didn't include it in the paintable bits
because in the cars of the period it tended, mostly, to be chrome.
