Anyone know what the hack is to get computer opponents back up to speed? I have the converted Daytona (the downloaded trk) and it works well but on these other trks the cars are REEEAAL slow (20/30 mph). How do I get them to be competitive?

Wow, that was a while ago, to be honest I really can't remember if David or anyone else really fixed the AI problems on these tracks or not, doesn't it say in the readme that he considers these tracks to be for online racing only ? The AI in GPL doesn't like banked corners. They're awful on most ovals, especially the superspeedways and Miloval. Jason

Yes but you'll have to forgive me...having just discovered GPL earlier in the week, I have to start somewhere! ;-)

Quick, put it away, right now - in doing so without delay you just might have a chance of saving your social life ;) Regards, Rudy (GPLRank -11)

Keep you busy for the rest of *the* year?!! I think you meant to say "keep you busy for the next *several* years". I'm still trying new tracks, and the track developers keep cranking 'em out. In my case, I suspect it is a subconscious trick to avoid spending time at Nurbergring to get a decent time and bring my GPL Rank down. <sigh> -- Darryl
