The local Office Depot had this on sale for $79.99 the day after Thanksgiving. I purchased it on impulse. Is this a good wheel for this amount? I did a little web surfing and Gamespot rated it so so. Pricing from ComputerShopper turned up selling price in the $150 range. Any comments appreciated.

According to a GPL programer the wheel has HORRIBLE CPU overhead when it is being sent commands. Joe McGinn _________________________ GA-Sports Writer http://www.ga-sports.com/

I bought it and it's going back. I never got it to work because I already had DX7 installed and it won't work with it. Tech support told me they would probably have a new model out before there was a fix for this one. I guess that's what happens when you go for a deal that's too good.

I had heard the wheel was a big resource hog also. But didn't they release new drivers that was supposed to fix that? At least dload the latest drivers and give it a whirl before throwing it back. dave henrie
