This happens periodically. Try adding more servers to your server list.
I doubt icq is ever going to go $. The 'net doesn't work that way anymore.
If anything, they'll start flashing full screen ads at us each time you
answer a message.

Mine did the same thing recently. I went to the ICQ site and downloaded
the most recent version and it now works perfectly.
