I cant upgrade my version of GPL ( 1.0.0.0 ). I got the message:
GPL.exe is not a valid previous versjon and could not be upgraded.

Did you download the correct GPL 1.2 patch? (Sorry, but I have to ask
this <g>)
If so, did you ever install a third party add-on? (Carsound, GPL
season, etc.)
If so, copy the original GPL.EXE from the CD.
If you still have this problem, then try a GPL reinstall. (Don't
forget to backup your setups, replays and add-ons)

Per Gunnar, I take it you have the same version as I do (UK). I ordered
mine from England, and I think the ones sold here in Norway also were UK
versions.
If this is the case, you cannot possibly get the error message, because
the patch is simply a bunch of files that need to be unzipped into the
GPL folder!
There is no version checking at all with the UK patch, only blind
unzipping...
This, in turn, should indicate that you have got the wrong version of
the patch. Get the UK version, and type in the path to your GPL folder
when prompted. It should work like a charm.

You should upgrade first to GPL 1.1 and then apply the 1.2 patch.

Make sure you use the right version. If you are norwegian you need the UK
version, not the US .

And also make sure it's not tampered with (any patches that is)...
Get a fresh copy of the .exe of your CD, put it in the GPL dir, and apply
the patch....

You have the US version of GPL, Matt? I was under the impression that all of
Scandinavia had UK versions ... UK patch is just a zip file that you unzip
to \sierra\gpl folder. No need to restore original gpl.exe's.
