I have a P233 MMX, 64 Ram with a Diamond Stealth 3D 2000, 4MB. I want
to upgrade to a 3D Accelerator card to play both NASCAR 3 by Sierra
(supports Direct 3D and Glide, I assume that means 3D FX), and Grand
Prix Legends by Sierra (supports Rendition and 3D FX). What are the
cards and or companies that will do what I am wanting.
I have never replaced any card on my computer so I will need
instructions that are simple and complete.
I need the following questions answered:
1. How and where do you install the card?
2. How do you get the computer to recognize the card?
3. How do you uninstall the old card and related files?
Once the card and software is installed can you play these games right
away or do you need to configure some files to get it to run at top
performance?
