Listen. I don;t care if you want to argue if this is a sim or an arcade
game. The simple fact is that it is fun. Multiplayer, even with only 10
people is just a major blast. You have to get this demo and the game after
that, this is a home run. Not GPL on dirt, just a really fun game to play
and race against other people. That's all.
Gamespy lite is really good. I can't wait to try Kali.
And I actually won a race. Started on the pole and avoided the first turn
pile up, but my lap times would have put me third (behind ringers like John
Bodin...but that is a different story.). Pulling a slide job on someone to
protect your lead in the closing laps of a 12 lap heat is amazing.

Fast laps alone do not a winner make -- you've got to be able to avoid
lappers, pile-ups, and guard rails, too! <G>
Great run, Brian -- last night was some of the best multiplayer action
I've ever been involved with. Good, clean racing even with folks who
had only had the game for a day or so, and LOTS of great competition.
Can't wait to fire it up again tonight and get some dirt on my monitor!
