Sending out an S.O.S.

Well there have been at least two posts to this NG in the last 3 days, both seemed to be certain that Spirit of Speed demo would be released either 26 or 27 October 1999, well it's evening of the 27th here in Africa (and Europe) and still no sign. Seeing as there is no mention of the game on either the Hasbro or Microprose sites, is it possible the gamehas been abandoned and someone just forgot to take the site down? You're trying to say, Microprose is the only software company not keeping release dates of demos or final products?
