"Martin Grabs 300 Pole, Wheeler Cruises to SuperTruck victory" Troy Martin had the fastest car in qualifying Tuesday night, as he set his Ford on the pole position for Wednesday's World Crown 300 at the Georgia International Speedway. Martin took a lap at 19.367 to grab the award, nipping last year's World Crown 300 champ Brandon Reed by less than a tenth for the top starting spot. Speeds were considerably lower than in practice, due to warmer temperatures experienced in the north Georgia area. After qualifying, a field of 19 SuperTrucks took the green flag in the Tabasco 150, and at the end it was the Dodge of Lee Wheeler scoring the victory in dominating fashion, leading 75 laps of the event. The only other leader all night was the chevy of Johnathan Chandler, who also led 75 laps, but retired just after the halfway mark with engine failure. The World Crown 300 will be take the green flag at 7:30 tomorrow night. Happy hour practice will be held at 4 p.m. *Tabasco 150 final rundown and World Crown 300 starting order listed below* *Please note that not all entires were "official"-Cars and trucks were downloaded from websites to fill fields, with drivers being listed by artists' names* World Crown 300-Starting Grid --------------------------------- 1.
