I saw this at http://www.digitalsports.com/
Seems the game will only be published in Europe. What is it with
Hasbro/Microprose only publishing racing games in Europe? We don't race
well enough here in North America?
Philster
Hey, I am disappointed about this, since now if I want the game I'll have to
pay extra for an import, but please don't post incorrect/misleading headers.
Just because it's not going to be available on the regular shelf in the US
doesn't mean it is "axed".
Marc.
Man thats a pisser. I mean the GP3 thing was a mistake...i can only hope this
is too. However that doesnt seem likely. Well...anyone know how i can get
this game in the states when it comes out? Who should i order it through?
Chris
Probably just more BS to build the hype. They got that f*ckin' hype machine
running in overdrive at this point. :(

anything they say is a pantload.

They have great cutomer service and great prices. You will not have to pay
extra for imports. I have purchased GP500, TOCA/TOCA 2, F1RS/MGPRS2, and
Colin McRae, all as imports from Interact and I have always had good
results.

I hope so too ... but it is what my contact at SGN (the guy who gets
games from companies) was told, that the game won't be available in
North America. :-(

As a programmer I avoid warez on principle, but I agree that is the
major effect of these moves.

I'm sure a lot of European developers would love to see their sims
released on to the US market, but too many PC games have crashed and
burned before them for publishers to consider the risks worth it for
minority interest titles.
Don't blame the publishers, blame the restrictive retail system.
Publishers must *pay* the retailers to stock their games, and if it bombs
they must pay again to have them returned.
