GP500 problem

I did buy gp500 , did the full install. The game start's fine ,but when the track is done looding i get a error message and the game ends. Can anyone help me with this problem. Try using the SndTest.exe file in the /gp500/data/sounds/ folder. Click on "Auto Detection", then run the game...

make sure you have dx 6.1 or higher installed ... and then the usual of making sure you have the latest drivers for your cards etc hope this helps shane

hi , carlo I have the same problem,as soon as the track loads an error message appears and closes the program. my system is almost identical to yours... P3 450, 128 meg, viper ultra , i have dx 6.1 yada yada yada , the demo worked fine , go figure.... any ideas anyone thanks, steve

I also have a problem. I don't think it's running in 3DFX mode. When the graphics configure screen comes up - I can only pick the resolution. The best being 800*600. The 3d options are greyed out although it does say Microsoft Direct 3d or some such rubbish.
