I got some advice a month ago for putting an Init String in my modem
advanced window under extra settings that really seemed to help getting
online with a fast connection.
I lost that advice and accidentally deleted the Init string I had. I have a
US Robotics 56k V.90 voice modem.
The string was only about 7 characters long. Does anyone have any advice?
This may be what you need:
S109=2
(V.90 only - 56000 bbps)
However, I connect faster when I leave the extra settings field blank. Go
figure?

I found that &F1 works best for me.
Also, might try this: AT&F1&K0&I0S33=32S15=128S27=64S12=0S10=255
It's long but it might work.
