Read the included docs, which will tell you how to slow down your mirror refresh rate to get better overall frame rates. I slow my mirrors all the way down to 1/8 speed (yuck!) to get 36 fps most of the time. Dunno about TOCA. -- spamgard(tm): To email me, put "geek" in your Subject line.

Try getting some decent drivers and make sure that your Banashee is completely uninstalled. Luigi Soddu

I get 36 fps most of the time, dropping to about 20 fps at the start of a race from the back of a full field. Assuming you have a decent CPU, you should also be able to get 36 fps most of the time. My System: Celeron 366 overclocked to 533, 128 MB, TNT 1, 2.08 reference drivers My GPL settings: 1024x768, detail bias slider halfway, cars only in mirrors, mirror refresh every 8 frames, all other details maxed. Try the 2.08 reference drivers. Also try the F10 view; if it makes a big difference, the problem is your mirror configuration. If it doesn't, the problem is more global. -- spamgard(tm): To email me, put "geek" in your Subject line.
Thanks David and Luigi, Installed OpenGL,and changed setting's,before change 12fps with mirrors going like crazy, after change 20fps??????? man this is Terrible, and this is ONLY one car on the track.Anyway i had another look at my video card and noticed openGL setting, so i ticked it tried to play no way, tried to load, but kept locking up,unticked openGL,still could'nt start game. If someone has a TNT2 could you PLEASE send me the advanced settings for the card, also what framerate should i be getting.TIA
Thanks for your reply Dave, tried the 2.08 drivers did 'nt make any difference, still 9-10fps in a race start,in practice with one car,17-18 fps,in f10 mode 2 fps difference using x8 mirror setting!!! Went through my computer double checked to ensure latest drivers,by the way the specs for the computer are, P11-350 with 64 meg ram,I think i will send this card back and go back to 3dfx!!,once again thanks for your help.dennis > >Installed OpenGL,and changed setting's,before change 12fps with mirrors > >going like crazy, after change 20fps??????? man this is Terrible, and this is > >ONLY one car on the track.Anyway i had another look at my video card and > >noticed openGL setting, so i ticked it tried to play no way, tried to > >load, but kept locking up,unticked openGL,still could'nt start game. > >If someone has a TNT2 could you PLEASE send me the advanced settings for the
