Sorry for this question. I wasn't into sim racing for something like 1,5 years. What simulation with road coarses people race today? Is it still GPL? I am interested only in original games. TIA -- Mario
F1 Challenge by EA Sports is also an outstanding sim with exclusively road courses. Also, there are downloadable mods to add sports cars and other racing genres to the game. It is very fun and very challenging. ANash "Mario Petrinovich" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:<bp694d$nqg$[email hidden]>... > Sorry for this question. Thanks. But, since you've said that this "is also", I presume that Papy still has the best physics, : ). -- Mario Alan Nash :

Mario, you want to "try" something, find Netkar. it is in beta form but gives hours of (actually simulated) driving fun, IMHO. Some multiplayer support, is can be hard or easy to do depending on reading-comprehension skills. there are about 5 tracks to DL separately, 2 server/multiplayer utils you can use, and all most all is found on NKzone.com. Field of view is different than the released sims, to give yourself time to adapt. good fun, for free, Oh and there is NO AI, so you race against yourself unless you get or find someone online. Thanks Leo (and Sting) I presume I could find some place on The Net where I can find more info about that Trans-Am mode. Second thing, I tried to install my GPL again, after long time. There were some problems because of Windows XP. I don't like those things. I hope using only tracks from GPL wouldn't cause problems. -- Mario Leo Landman @cistron.nl :
