Hi, Does anyone know if force feedback works with AMA. I have the sidewinder FF wheel and i can drive with it but no feedback. It is also not in controller list as one of the selections. there are 4 sidewinder controllers to be selected but dont think any of them are the force feedback controller. thanks for any info, Dave Thayer
We don't support FF yet. It's on the list. -MSM -- __________________________________________________________________________ Mark S. Miller "Be regular and orderly in your life, Director of Design that you may be *** and original Motorsport Simulations in your work." [link lost in import]

My advice is don't do it until you have time to do it right. It can be a valuable feedback aid allowing you to increase realism - as in GPL - or a useless bump'n'jolt gimmich as in games like Need for Speed. That's why we didn't put it in for the first release. What we want is to do it in such a way that you feel the wheelies, low-sides, tank-slappers, etc. and use the stick feedback to avoid embarassing accidents. That ended up being a LOT more work to make right than expected. And we didn't want some weak "stick shakes when you hit wall" FF support just so we could have the bullet on the box. -MSM -- __________________________________________________________________________ Mark S.
