In the screenshots at papy's site there is one of a group of cars going into what appears to be the esses's at Riverside (top right shot) except thereare grandstands, I recall it being just the dirt banks! Also does there seem to be a few to many superbirds? seems like 2/3 of the field, perhaps the screenshots aren't reflecting what will actually be in the sim due to some licensing issues. Any way I will jump all over NL just as I have held off on N3. JM

There were actually two grandstands, drivers left, on the outside of turns two and three at Riverside. They were nearly identical in size and seperated by about 50 feet, the only difference in the two being the Goodyear Tower at the back of the north grandstand. The grandstand in the screenshot on the Papy site looks about twice the size of the real ones and closer to the track (l have a good sized library of Riverside photographs) but I'll reserve judgement until I get a chance to hustle one of those "Birds" up through the esses myself<g>. I can't wait! don [|]-(_)-[|] >In the screenshots at papy's site there is one of a group of cars going into >what appears to be the esses's at Riverside (top right shot) except thereare >grandstands, I recall it being just the dirt banks! I must admit it was a longgg time ago when we went there..... we just sat on the banks JM
cs1.aol.com>: I did the Jim Russell FF school there 17yrs ago. I lost it going into the esses and went spinning up and along the dirt banks and I don't remember seeing any grandstands. But, grandstands come and go, and the esses would have been a not bad spectator, point so there could easily have been some there at some point. -- Don Scurlock Vancouver,B.C.
