All, I'm thinking of getting this package, but it's pretty expensive so I wanted to check into it first. Also, I've heard some rumblings that it can interfere with other CD/DVD burning software. Anyone experienced this ? Will it back up the NR2003 CD properly? Does a virtual image of NR2003 made with this work properly with Alcohol's Virtual CD mounter ? Daemon Tools quit working for me when NR2003 came out, and I HATE having to keep the CD in the drive. Thanks :) -Larry
Before spending tons of money on 4MB of software, may I suggest trying out the pirated sion first? See if is actually worth the money, if it conflicts with other programs, if it can backup the games necessary... I use Daemon which still works for me with NR2003 Larry. I did quit after the patch, but I upgraded to version 3.33 of Daemon tools and it works well again. What did you use to make the ISO image of the NR2003 CD ? I used to use DDump but updates stopped and I never could get it to work with NR2003. When I tried to use an image with Daemon Tools, it would hang up at the copy-protection disk-spinner... It has been a while, though. I believe I just downloaded 3.41. -Larry "Glen Pittman" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > I use Daemon which still works for me with NR2003 Larry. Don't own NR2003 but F1CS works great and I'd imagine the same copy protect scheme is in use.
Thanks for the info! InCD I can live without. Packet-Writing software is problematic anyway and I never use the stuff. Thanks again! -Larry "Dale Green" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

I'm going to try that now. However, if I purchase anything, it looks like it might be Alcohol 120$. Blindwrite is expensive for what it does ($40), and Alcohol 120% has more feature for $9 more. Since I use this stuff so rarely, I'm still looking for a freeware imager I can use with Daemon Tools before I decide to buy anything. DDump used to work great, but it hasn't been updated in ages (though I'm going to check on that again too). I see your point, I used the "demo" of version 4 (blindwrite) actually to make the few images I ever use (NR2002 & Nr2003) I found I had to update Daemon a few times since NR2003 came out was all. I I then bought Blindwrite the otherday, thinking it would do what Roxio used to do... My own experience says, the "jury" is out on that one. I didnt know about Alcohol, dang It, I hope I didnt jump into Blindwrite all too soon. PS give me a link to Alcohol. Thanks for the info.
