I was one who said "I'll pass" with regards to this new Nascar simulation
by Sierra/Papyrus. I had my hopes set for the N3 that David Kaemmer was
working on at Papyrus. Curiosity led me to try N3 last night, and
although it's definitely not GPL, it is fun.
One thing I did notice though was that David Kaemmer's name was not in
the credits. Seeing as he *is* Papyrus, and is probably still working on
"something", I wonder if he is still plugging away at *his* Nascar Racing
Simulation (the former N3).
I'm sure they didn't shelve it - and with 3D cards like the 3DFX Napalm
on the horizon there won't be any reason to hold it back because of
hardware limitations. Maybe David Kaemmer and Geoff Crammond will give
each other some competition this spring...

Didn't they tell us that N3 was " postponed"?
Personally, I am very glad they gave us something to tide us over in the
meantime.
