There was a Konami arcade console called "Cote d'Azur Rally". An absolute dog in terms of driving physics, and if I recall the cars were sprite based, and yet very convincing looking. Anyway, the concept was brilliant - rip around little Mediterranean towns in Minis, GTIs and Renault 5s. Fun fun fun. Now, how about a game based on the driving scenes from "Ronin"? If you search the bins you may find a copy of Big Red Racing, an arcade game with such odd venues as low gravity mars racing moonbuggies snowplows in Siberia boats in Japan (If I remember correctly) but by far my favorite was racing minis in Italy... even had the motorcoach*** off the side of the cliff :-) It is a simple little game but some of the best fun LAN racing wev'e had when you get a little bored of the serious stuff. **************************************************** I'm at jburlis at mail dot postnet dot com
