Something similar sometimes happens to me. I finally traced it down to the cable for the pedals coming loose from the main unit, requiring a simple push back in. It sounds like you may have a more complicated problem, but it certainly would be nice if it were this simple.

I'll keep an eye on this thread... Dave Bowman

Wel, so far it's fixed- must have been a driver issue or DirectX. I did a reinstall of Win98(and everything else <g>) last night, and things have been peachy all day. If you don't hear anything else from me on this, that's because it's fixed.

After installing the new driver for Force RS (separate pedals support, downloadable from www.actlab.com) I'm unable to set up controller in "Need for Speed High Stakes". The game just freezes when I go to options/controllers until I disconnect power supply for the wheel. The old driver works fine. Any ideas? Did anybody use Act Labs Force RS with new driver in NFSHS? Worked fine for me. Of course, I used the NFSHS demo. Perhaps the full version is different. I use a serial connection for the wheel, running the latest drivers.
