With Al Unser looking for a job, What a great Nascar team he and AJ would
make?
yeah, you have AJ who is famous for getting extra speed for his team
drivers in Qualifying with Al Jr who hasn't had a good Q session in 3
years. He could use Foyt's help. But then, with the fields so tightly
packed in Winston Cup, can you afford to pay a guy who historically has
never been a good Qualifyer.

He may not qualify good but then again Jeff Burton doesnt qualify great either
yet he wins alot in Nascar cause hes good in the race. Im sure if Al Jr makes
the field he could run fairly well.

You can bet that Little*well not anymore......geeesh, nice beergut* Al will
run the 500 next year because It's "the only race that matters" to him. He
might try Nascar with AJ or Cal Wells If the money is right but only with
the option to miss the World 600 for INDY. My guess Is he will pickup a
another CART ride with the same option. It traditionally takes a new NASCAR
(or any series) team 2-3 years to become competitive and I don't believe he
will opt in that direction.......unless the moneys offered are too
ridiculous to turn down. IMO given the right equipment Al still has the
ability to win races wherever he lands.

They pay Dale Earnhardt.

When I die, I hope they bury me at Wal-Mart so my wife will visit me
everyday.
Foyt has said he doesn't want to pay big bucks, and Al will be looking for
big bucks. I don't see this marriage happening.
