Hi
I am trying to reduce the braking distance
and found these bike has horrible braking
in comparision to the cars like F1 or GPL.
There is simply no way to brake till your wheels
lock or something close, it simply has sloppy brakes.
I guess this is the main difference between bike and car.
Also, how is the Ducati better than the other
more powerful bikes ?
I am trying SENTUL track and found the DUCATI
has virtually no chance of catching the other bikes.
Which track does the DUCATI out run the other
more powerful bikes ?

A bike has only two wheels !

I agree, the braking feel as well as the turn in response
of the bikes just doesn't feel right. As a long time bike
rider I want to love SBK but I just can't get into it, it
feels like slow motion into and through corners. Nothing
like real life.

the "sense of speed " is simply not there....
I believe it is a VISUAL thing.
The speedo reads quite high like 100km/hr
into corners but when you are not looking at
the speedo, you would think you could take the
corner at higher speed and start
to push
Then you end up over the gravel.
What I found out is that you really need to
" slow-in fast-out " with this game.
Once you accept this method, you will enjoy
the game.
Still I would like to change the braking distance
to slightly lower :=0
So far managed to win most racers in ACTION
mode. It is the simulation thing that got me.
BTW, what do you adjust "trail" and "rake" ?
I am a car guy so I dont know much about these.
Are you able to adjust these in your real bike ?

times and the freezing was awful. Couldn't go more than a metre or two
before stopping completely. Reckon there's a patch in the making, although
knowing EA, I'm not holding my breath.
Rake is the angle of the front forks relative to vertical.
The steeper the rake the quicker the bike will steer, and
the less stable it will be at speed.
Trail: draw an imaginary line through the center of the
steering head bearing down to the ground, draw another line
dropping straight down to the ground through the center of
the front axle. The distance between where these two lines
hit the ground is your trail. The less trail you have
the quicker the bike will steer and the less stable it will
be in a straight line.
On high end race bikes you can adjust rake and trail, often
independently of each other. On street bikes it is not adjustable.
Try setting your rake and trail to minimum, you should notice the
bike steering quicker.
