Use the 3dfx Reference Drivers, not the diamond drivers and it will take
care of the issue. My friend had the same problem and this fixed it.

After a reinstall of W98 I'm trying to get GPL to work. I have a Voodoo2
card (Diamond 12 MB) and when I start GPL the second screen where I have to
fill in my name is totally messed up. As I use the lastest reference drivers
with Glide 2.56 I've already tried to put Glide 2.53 in the GPL-directory (=
D:\GAMES\SIERRA\GPL). Glide 2.50 also didn't solve the problem. Does anybody
know what I'm doing wrong? It worked great until now.
