ByTor Motorsports is seeking clean drivers for their league.
We run a different type of leauge than alot of the others you see here.
Our league is a "same track" league, aimed at getting drivers experience
and skill points at particular tracks. We run 3 different types of tracks,
each on thier own night of the week.
We run road races on Monday nights (currently Watkins Glen), Super
Speedways on Wednesday nights (currently Dega), and short tracks on Friday
nights (currently Bristol). Standings are kept on a monthly basis using
the Nascar points system, and the winner is announced at the end of the
month and standings start over, so everyone has a clean slate at the
beginning of every month. We are also keeping track of yearly stats to
perhaps crown champions of the year.
We encourage clean driving and lots of fun. Many of the racers that are
with us say we are the cleanest bunch that they run with. We will hold a
vote every few months to choose what tracks we will run, and every member
gets thier say in the matter. Our main goal is to have drivers excel at
particular tracks, whether it be thier favorite track, or one they just
don't have a handle on. Our rules are very simple as well.
We will also run specialty races every month or two on saturday nights,
such as a Bristol Bash 500 or a Dega 500 that will count for double points
in our monthly standings. Also, planned for the near future when enrollment
is better is heat races to qualify for the feature races, or for
consolation. Details are still being worked out, and our members have a say
in how it will work.
Anyone familiar with the now defunct DiamondStar Racing league will
recognize our format. We have gracefully taken over this format from
DSR's founder, Dave Stamper, and have had some good turnouts in the first
few weeks of our races with the newly formed league.
We dont have "league only setups" that cant be shared outside of our
league. We freely share our good setups in hopes that others contribute
thiers back to the group.
Please stop by our website and sign up. You will be very pleased in the
level of competition and clean racing that we have. All of our races are 0-
15 skill level, so even beginners looking to get an edge on particular
tracks are ENCOURAGED and WELCOME to join!
Our website is located at: [link lost in import]
There is a signup link off of that page. Questions or comments are welcome
Anyone who runs with me regularly, in league or pickup, knows that I run
clean, and thats just an example of the quality of the drivers in our
league.
Thanks for your time guys,
Matt Neville
