We've posted Stefan Petrovic's first impressions from the GP 500 demo. Might be handy for those on a slower connection and not sure if the download is worth it. The demo hasn't made much of an impression on me - it won't recognise my seperate axis brake pedal, just like SCGT. I hope that can get fixed. Grant. The opinion and comments expressed in this post is mine and mine alone, and has nothing to do with my employer.

Grant, I have MSFF steering wheel and SCGT recognizes split pedals no problem - a must for trail braking and fine control. Must be something to do with your pedals. Regards, Andrew.

That may be the case. I think my brake pedal may be wired up to work using the 4th axis not the 3rd one. But I still don't understand how I can calibrate it correctly in Windows, and other Direct Input programs can correctly read the brake pedal, (GPL, Viper, programs I've written), and yet other programs like SCGT and GP500 can't. I just hope it can get fixed in the release version, if I'm having trouble there are surely others who will too. Grant. The opinions and comments expressed in this post are mine and mine alone, and have nothing to do with my employer.
