Can this be done? I can run individual races in F2 mode (via changing my
driver.ini info) but there doesn't appear to be any way of running a full
World Championship season in anything other than F1 mode.
Advice would be most welcome.

Hi Bruce,
I'm not sure about ver 1.1 but I was able to do it in 1.0 for
both f2 and f3. I just made a new player then exited and edited the
player.ini file like normal, then I selected World Championship, and
it worked fine. (although I did get my arse kicked in f2 after
dominating f3......)
But like I said, i'm not sure if they've changed this in the new
version.

I would like to know this as well. Whenever I've tried with my F2 or F3
drivers,
and F1 car is selected for the championship.
Any of the F3 specialists manage to get this to work?
