I just reinstalled GPL after learning of the v1.1 patch, haven't run it in
months. I completely uninstalled then reinstalled from CD, then patched to
1.1. Now I can't get by the setup screens without a lockup. Serious lockup,
have to hold the off switch for 4 seconds to get it to reboot. Mouse pointer
locks and that's it.
It seems I remember this from back when I first installed it, but don't
remember what the deal was.

Is this the one that didn't work with the latest M3D drivers? Guess I'll go
look for some older drivers first.

Oh boy, I don't have any old versions of Monster 3DII drivers, anyone know
where I can get a copy?
There's your problem. Copy version 2.53 of glide2x.dll into your GPL
folder or install the latest reference drivers which come with Glide
2.56.
