I've been deprived of sim racing for about three years due to work and
other things, but that changed recently and I am now (almost) back in
business. Bought a new PC with a video card, loaded GPL, installed
the patches, added some new tracks, downloaded the GPLEA cars,
installed Alison's set-ups, installed GEM+, and placed an order for a
Momo Force. Anticipation is running high.
A friend loaned me his TSW until my new wheel comes, and I made the
discovery.
I NEED A NEW KIND OF PATCH. There MUST be a way to offset my slow
reflexes and bad eyes! Surely a clever computer expert can help an
aging Boomer keep up with the BRMs. Oh my aching learning curve. I
remember being a LOT faster than this.
I guess more practice is the only known cure now. We slow racers have
fun too.
