GPL LWFF-settings and thoughts

2 posts by 2 people · 22 Jul 1999 - 29 Jul 1999

I have to say that this REALLY starts to feel VERY GOOD on the LWFF!. It also gives me a great workout after 40+ laps (see settings below). Last week I constructed a homemade***pit. Bought a nice carseat which had been installed previously in a Ford and put the pieces together. I've paid maybe $150 for the wood, screws, seat, paint etc. and it's just a totally super feeling to drive GPL these days. After a full GP at Brands (well... after a small incident in the end I got a fuel leak so I had to retire at the beginning of the last lap :-))) I noticed that I was physically in pretty good shape compared to when I raced the same distance sitting at my desk. The only problem now is that I have a impression that GPL racing is more important than my wife these days... Game Controllers -> properties Overall Effects Strength : 150 % Spring Effect Strength : 100 % Damper Effect Strength : 30 % [ Joy ] allow_force_feedback = 1 force_feedback_damping = 30.000000 force_feedback_latency = 0.225000 max_steering_torque = 65.000000 Happy racing!
