Did you rename the core.ini.sample to core.ini?
Eric

core.ini bit and hey presto...........no ff.

Is there anything I have missed?

You have pressed in the force feedback button in the centre of the wheel,

I had the same problem, go to the core ini and change it to core. (no ini)
Assrippper
Well Greg is right the name should be core.ini - however MS decided that they'd
rather not confuse their customers with file extensions and so the explorer has
an option to hide file extension for known types...
Turn off this option and you'll see the FULL file name.
