Sorry if this is old news to you.
I finally got Nascar99 in Germany.
My laptimes are much slower than I was used to from N2. After the experience
with the GPL patch I took the stop watch - and bingo:
Realtime was up to 2 seconds faster than the recorded laptimes! (Timed while
driving, not from the replay)
This happens with the Windows executables (3DFX and software as well) not with
the DOS exes.
Seems Papy had this problem already before the GPL patch
