I'm having some problems with the mirrors in GPL when running it on my
new TNT2 card (ASUS) and the openGL beta patch. Other people seem to
get slowdowns if they run their mirrors on too high refresh rates
(core.ini), but otherwise they don't seem to have any trouble.
My problem is my mirrors get "banded". Every other band shows
backwards view, while the others show front view! I can see my pit
board in the mirrors when it's shown. Is this the same problem
everyone else is having, or is this unique to my setup?
Why, oh why, did I sell off my Voodoo2 to get TNT2........
Karl
I have the same problem when using the nVidia reference drivers (currently
version 2.08). When I use the Diamond drivers (version 4.02 - I have a Viper
770), this striping does not occur. BUT, with the Diamond drivers I have
frequent lockups (page faults) when I change from 'pit-view' to 'racing'. So I
stick with the nVidia drivers till something better comes along.

goodness the nvidia device driver writers are not working on anything critical.
I still use the 0.48 reference drivers - everything newer gives me gpf's in GPL.
Can you imagine if those nvidia guys were writing the much maligned GPL 1.1
patch? What a horror show that would be.
