This is just the most incredible upgrade. I have a TM Force GT, which I had
lost faith in - but boy does it rock in GPL 1.1. Clearly, the problem with
FF in games is the programming. Mind you I've spent a fair bit of time
tinkering with the core.ini settings (and I'm sure there's more to come).
Currently the best setup I've found is
Latency 0.0
Damping 300
Torque 225
Steering is set with a linear bias, the slider being set just under the r in
linear
I am using Alison Hines' superb Ferrari setups
This is quite a sensitive setup, but gives superb feedback.
Perhaps other rec.autos.simulators regulars would care to post their
settings.
