I've installed the patch ok, but at first it wouldn't work, saying the
GPL.exe file was not suitable?
I realised I had previously (about 5 months ago?) used the GPLnocd.zip
file to allow GPL to be played without the cd, and this alters the
GPL.exe file.
I had to copy the original GPL.exe file from my cd to my GPL installed
directory, and then run the GPL v1.1 patch. It worked fime with the
original GPL.exe file.
However, I now cannot use the GPLnocd.zip file?
Everything else seems to work ok though, and its well worth spending 10
minutes reading the patch readme helpfile, there are some very useful
things in there especially regarding on-line racing.....
