Does this still work in 1.1? I've got a 64 meg machine and have
had it set at 10000 (10 meg) for GPL 1.0. This option does not work
for me in 1.1. I've put it at the top of CORE.INI, maybe it needs to
be under a particular [HEADER]?...

You need to put it under a [ Replay ] header, like so:
