I had the following problem racing online at Brands Hatch for the first
time:
In the last turn before the finishing straight in lap 1 of the race, GPL
froze and I got this message: "This application has performed an illegal
operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the
manufacturer."
It had happened in practise too in exactly the same spot, but only after I
had done 7 laps without a problem ... And when I joined another Brands race
on
VROC, same problem again in the first practise lap.
The standard tracks have posed no problem until now. And neither did Brands
Hatch offline.
My config: Celeron 300A at 450MHz, 128MB ram, Viper 550 TNT video w. Nvidea
0.48 ref. drivers, Internal ISDN card (pci), GPL 1.0.0.0 ;-) European
version with Opengl beta patch, no other patches installed.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bart Westra
