All i can say is WOW!!! After months of struggling with GPL to get to run at
more than 15 fps on my old 2d card i went all out and got a V3. My laptimes
since have been cut by a second or more(!!!!) at Monza, Zandvoort, Silverstone,
Watkins Glen, and Kyalami. I can get a solid 36 fps with ALL graphics turned
on during hotlaps. I havent tried a race yet but cant wait to.
Also I tried N2/99, SBK and SCGT with the new V3 and all are spectacular
looking. I do get pallette problems in GPL at anything over 800x600 res but i
have heard there is a temp fix made by someone (thanks whoever you are!!) and
that the 1.1 patch will clear these up even more. Now when i get a real ISP i
will be able to race (well no...ill be able to ride around while others race)
on VROC :)
