Sid, You can use both the generic or DirectInput drivers, they both work for me. Are you connected to serial or USB port? I have only tried the USB port, and it is I also use CTFJ3 with no problems. I just set the R axis to -90 and forget about it. At that setting, you can still lock the brakes, but have the benefit of improved control. You need to uninstall CTFJ before calibrating in GPL, or else you will set the brake pedal to the reduced scale, accomplishing nothing. Maybe you should tell us exactly what hardware you have, and perhaps someone can help. Certainly GPL can work great with both the Logitech and CTFJ. Keith.

I have just got a Wingman Formula Force wheel and have a couple of questions. Can you use the generic driver in GPL? I am using the Direct Input driver at the moment but am getting a bit of wheel jitter in the***pit,i had this problem with my old Nascar Pro and changing to the generic driver fixed it.But when i change to generic driver with the Logitech i can't callibrate. Also when i use CTFJ3 the wheel becomes unusable in GPL as well.Hope someone can help. Thanks,Sid.
Sid, I am in the same situation as you - when I go to generic, none of the axes respond. Fortunately mine doesn't jitter with the direct input driver. I run GPL from the profile in the 3.20 software, and find the controls pretty good once you get used to them. Cheers.. Phillip...
