Is it just me, or do the engine sounds in NFS:HS sound like vacuum cleaners?
I can't wait to hear what the F1 engines will sound like in EA's new F1
game. They'll probably sound like 17,000 rpm vacuum cleaners.

I disagree.
NFS:HS sounds very, very good to me on my MX-300 with my very cheap
2-speaker with subwoofer. When you consider they are modeling loads
of road cars, instead of open-exhaust race cars, I think it is pretty
incredible what they have accomplished.
Its a killer game, and one which has better driving physics than the
last few iterations, IMO. It ain't GPL/VIPER/SCGT, but it is certainly
far above many of the other twitch-racers.....

I think they're pretty cool. The BMW and 911 turbo are very accurate, as I
have driven these cars.

Yep, I was going to comment on the Porsche Turbo sounds. It sounds
just like my son-in-law's 930 .....

I was having this problem with the game also after installation. It took
awhile to figure out that setup had selected EAX sound when I did not have a
3D sound board. Changing over to stereo made all the difference...
excellent!
