today was my birthday, and some of my friends decided to get me an FF wheel,
knowing of my love of sim racing.... my incessant hints might have helped...
anyway, they got what was probably the only one at the Wiz... the InterAct
V4 FF.

stay away!!!
it's pretty terrible. i agreed with everything said in the gamecenter (cnet)
review- actually they were polite.
huge framerate hit in every game/sim (viper, F1RS, NFS something or other-
only borrowed to try out the wheel). weirdly inappropriate (random) feedback
and jerking motions. strange delay between an input and result (even in the
calibration screen!!) no split accel/brake axis.
on the plus side, the height and angle adjustments are very cool, and the
pedals aren't bad.
*don't* get it!!! i hope my friends will return it and let me get the
logitech.... i think it'll actually be cheaper in the end anyway (bought
online vs. retail)....
