Well, it said in the name of the patches on my site what they did, but I'll
explain anyway.
I have made a patch that creates more realistic smoke. Also, I made a patch
that has more realistic dust. I made a patch that creates fire in some
crashes. Finally, I made a program that installs all of these patches at once.

How does the patches compare to ICR2 or Cart Rendition versions?

Well, I can't comment on Rendition, but I do know exactly how this affects
software graphics rendering on ICR2. The smoke patch creates a lot more smoke
which is thicker and whiter. The dust patch makes more translucent dust. The
fire patch, it just creates fire during wrecks. That help?
