Is it just me or is the AI in OF1R some of the best so far? Cars actully crash, overtake and make mistakes!! And they don't do ridiculous moves when you have the line (D.C.- are you listening?) I enjoy this 'game' which is basically what it is, a good, fast racing game with brilliant replays and good graphics.Just a shame about Brazil that's all. Stick with it - nothings perfect but OF1R deserves a better deal than people are giving it. I know they marketed it as a sim but perhaps it is somewhere in between - just raced a full race at Hungary - 3 stops and I came second - but brilliant fun (ain't that what *** is all about?) BTW - did anyone read D.C's comments that he learnt Monaco on his Playstation? Which game was it?
That's what I've been saying for a while! Unfortunately there are lots of really stupid things about OF1R that could be fixed in a patch. Let's wait and see. Iain

Well, I didn't download the OF1R demo when it came out, but now you've changed my mind hehe... I thought it'd be a *** sim like all those others, but that's not what I want... I just want an arcade-like game, featuring F1 ... may seem strange to you though... Well, I'm downloading the demo now.. It's only 7 MB... I'll see if I like it hehe... - Alien

Do the cars handle any better in the full version? If not, OF1R is not even a good arcade game. The cars in Motorhead handled so much better than OF1R.

I think the cars handle fine - I use GPL for the full on 'realistic' approach - at least I hope so - and OF1R for a really enjoyable all out race-where you can BE Eddie Irvine and to hell with the consequences!! GPL is wonderful but on my humble P166MMX OF1R is the business - for now. Anyone interested in swapping set ups for the much maligned Eidos effort?

I dont think so! Really sad too. It could have been one great sim but like many companies they'll opt more for the mass arcaders, {imho.}...... Cheers Thom_j. > Do the cars handle any better in the full version? If not, OF1R is not even > a good arcade game. > The cars in Motorhead handled so much better than OF1R.

Well, it seemed to me, that under heavy breaking, and turning at the same time, the cars turned from the center of the car.
