** One of two CDs for Rally Champ. ?**

We have launched our new forums a day or two ago. We'll be able to add more forums and a lot of new features where added. Yesterday Magnetic Fields posted a thread on "Fitting it all in" "Here at Magnetic Fields, all the talk over the last couple of days has been how to fit 20+ cars, 400 miles of track, loads of graphics, pictures, sound and music all onto one measly CD. We're still trying to decide the best way, wondered what everyone else thought. Here are our options (1) Use 2 CD's, install some stuff fom the first one, then use the other one to play and load music and anything else require from that (2) Crunch all the data on the CD, forcing a full install (700Mb) or slower loading times (3) Reduce the amount of in-game music and/or slideshows of the cars Wondered what everyone else thought about it, and how much hard drive space they would be prepared to use for Rally Chmpionship Thanks" Here you have it. Take your advantage with it. Let Magnetic Fields know what you think on our renewed forums. That way you can install from one CD and use the second CD for playing the game. By so doing you can keep the full game in all it's glory while not consuming too much hard disk space, but also still allow option (2) and allow those who have the space to spare to install the full thing onto their hard disk for maximum convenience. I could live with reducing the slideshows though, since I rarely look at them. It's just that the 2 CDs route seems to offer maximum flexibility provided that it doesn't increase production costs too much. Cheers! John

I'd choose number 3 as I never use in-game music and rarely, if ever, look at the included slide shows or movies. -don

Option 1 would be my preference but why not have a full install option also for those with massive HD's? Also, what about shipping on DVD? Regards DM
