Hi Michael, We've got a V3 here in the office, and it runs quite well. This crash is outside of Viper Racing, out in driver-land (you can tell, because VR is down near 00400000). I'd check out the latest drivers, that should help you out. . . .

The problem may be caused by ActiveMovie hosing up the driver--before going through the hazardous driver installation time-sink, you might try using the "-nointro" flag available with the 1.1 patched version--go to Start Menu/Run... and type: "viper racing" -nointro which will launch without the intro movie. Has Sierra shipped a patched version that can run on European installations? If not, you can try to get someone to e-mail you the "race.bin" file from a patched Viper Racing\Data folder. Good luck! -Dave P.

Viper Arena! Actually, can't say anything about the next project, except that it's not due until Q3 2000. Dave Broske MGI
