First off don't hate me for being able to play GPL at 1024 x 768. I just got a
Voodoo 3 to go with my 450Mhz Celeron and it's great at this resolution.
Anyway, during a race I can't read the text from others that are chating
because the font size is so small. This is really a small gripe I know, but it
seems that the font size for the chat is the same size as it was in 640 x 480
and now that the game is scaled up to 1024 x 768 it's too small for me. I'm
using the V3 patch and forcing the card to 1024 x 768. I can live with the
smaller menus, but during driving I sit back from the screen far enough that
it's impossible to read the chat. I used to race at 640 x 480 and while online
sometimes there is a pileup or other porblem and the host is asking if
everyones agrees to a restart or whatever. It would be nice to read the chat
during a race, any ideas? By the way, I have a 17" monitor and 1024 allows me
to see down the road even farther and makes the game that much more enjoyable
so 640 x 480 is no longer viable. Maybe they can do something about the chat
font size during a race in the patch.

You better look at the road during the race, than on the chat screen :-)
