Midtown Madness as a single player game is pretty dull, but it does have
good potential as a great multiplayer game. I can see the same following as
MS Flight Simulator if it is done right. Here's my list of wants:
1) Get rid of that annoying "Sleep with the Fishes" message when you fly off
into the water. What does that mean anyway?
2) Add a major expressway with express and local lanes. Add a tollbooth
that you can smash the gate when you fly past in the Semi-Truck. I've
always wanted to do that in real life.
3) Get rid of the prompt to connect to the internet when playing TCP/IP
multiplayer games. How annoying.
4) ADD SOME CHEVYS!!!
5) Make a developer toolkit freely available so that we can create our own
cars and scenery. I can't wait to get my hands on a semi-truck without the
trailer attached.
6) Fix the blatant errors in the existing scenery!! Jumbo jets don't land
at Meigs Airport and the Mustang Fastback is not a Boss 302 as listed on the
package.
I can't wait until there is some form of expansion pack. Anybody have a
clue as to what is next?

Actually, they never land...they just do touch and gos!
It's one hell of a beginning to a great game though! Once the car / city
editor gets released look out! I've only had it one day but it certainly is
a riot. Been playing it A LOT! I LOVE the single player mode. So much to
see and do. I find it very hard to get board. Maybe after a few months I
will be, but for now all the eyecandy in here just puts everything else to
shame. On top of it all it runs smooth at 1024x768 and above! Wow.

Haven't you ever seen the Godfather? Luca Brasi was killed
and "Sleeps with the Fishes". I thought it was a completely appropriate
thing to say after falling in the Chicago river. I was ROFLMAO.
Aha, now it makes sense. No, I had not seen the Godfather, and I didn't
understand what the saying meant. I guess it can stay for now.
Any news on when the City Builder will be released?
