I cannot get GPL work for a while it only works for qualifying and if I go
out to the garage the graphics get all screwed up when I go back to the
game. I have tried it both ways limiting texture men to 2 MB and running
the batch file that was posted on these NG. a while black. and I get the
same results both ways.
any help will be really appreciated.

I had the same problems. I fixed it somewhat by downloading the Banshee
patch from the Fast Lane. I still get the mouse pointer stuttering but
GPl runs fine now.

I found the Banshee patch (the one that lets you adjust mirror refresh)
works just splendidly with my new V3 3000.
I've run GPL as high as 1600 X 1200, and it looks totally awesome! I now
run it with details and eye candy maxed out at 1280 X 1024 and always get
36fps.
At 1600 X 1280 it was only running at 31-34 fps.
