Warning: I just downloaded these two from these links. The McLaren mod DL ended with an error message. When I installed the ITC 96 mod, GTR would no longer run! Aarrgghh! I'm now redownloading the whole GTR mod file (and then will have to get the patch) and pray it will work when I reinstall. Don't know. Anyway, if you love GTR (as I do), don't go near these files. I'm mighty unhappy that I did.
Help! After download this ITC 96 Cup mode referred to in the post below and running the .exe file, GTR would no longer run. I reinstalled the original GTR, and that worked OK. But when I reinstalled the 1.2 patch, I get the same error message as I was getting after installing the ITC: Run time error '9'--Subscript out of range. What a nightmare. Anybody know what I can do to get GTR version 1.2 working again? And everybody, do NOT go near these two files if you love GTR. Well, a follow-up: After moving all my GTR folders out of the F12002 folder, reinstalling GTR, reinstalling the patch, reinstalling the Ferrari and Mini Cooper mini-mods, moving my tracks folder from my old GTR installation to the new one and reconfiguring the game ... I'm finally back and running again. I still have to reinstall the add-on cars one-by-one, of course. So I guess I don't need any help from the great folks in this newsgroup after all. And I don't want to trash the guy's mod unnecessarily. Maybe other folks are getting it to work. But it sure caused me a couple of tedious hours, and I'm quite sure I didn't do anything wrong in the installation. So a cautious beware, I guess.
