Right, had enough. I'm running GPL with a Powergrafx 16 Meg Voodoo
Banshee AGP card (AMD 400 Mhz), and have constant lock-ups and
graphical anomalies. Sometimes the game just freezes, with the engine
sound winding down in the background while the in-car view is frozen.
Other times, the screen starts to corrupt and blink, in the end
becoming an absolute mess of flickering lines and mouse pointer
trails. I tried the FastLane Voodo Banshee patch with the new
Glide2x.dll, but it doesn't help since I'm running 640x480 anyway.
What Banshee drivers are you people using? I'm using the reference
1.03 or something like that, the ones with 3DNow!-support. Starting to
think 'twas a baaad choice.
Hi Toni,
Do you have your card overclocked?...also...you may need a tweak or 2 of
your bios settings......Bill's board has a great troubleshooting section
on this.I've just lost his bookmark due to a new install of a browser
here but I am sure one of these kind souls in this newsgroup can help
you out with his Banshee site address.

reporting on this problem if I find some kind of solution.
Don't use Windows Wallpaper or Themes. Get the latest BIOS and drivers for
your card.
